FAQ'S

1. Where is Abigail’s Hostel located?
Abigail’s hostel is situated on Aston Quay with a view of the River Liffley in Temple Bar. It is 2 minutes walk from Trinity College, 2 minutes walk from O’Connell Street and 5 minutes walk from Train & Dart Station.

2. Is there a Curfew?
No, Abigail’s Hostel is opened 24 hours although guests must show their security pass to enter the building.

3. What is included in the price for a night?
All rates are per person sharing per night and include light breakfast & bed linen. All rooms en-suite (with toilet & shower).

4. What is breakfast?
Abigails serve a light continental breakfast. Breakfast includes cereal, tea, coffee, toast and orange juice.

5. What time is the breakfast?
Breakfast time is from 8am until 10am Monday - Friday and 8am - 11am on Saturday and Sunday and it is self service.

6. What are the Check-in and Checkout times?
Earliest check in time is at 2pm. Check out time is 10.30am Monday - Friday and 11.30am on Saturday and Sunday. If you arrive before 2pm and your bed/room is not ready yet, you can leave your luggage in the left luggage room facility (which is free of charge) and then check in later.

7. Do you have WI FI internet Access?
 Yes, we offer free Wi Fi internet access to all guests with laptop computers.  For guests not carrying a laptop there are computer terminals available (€1.00 for 15 mins)

8. Are there car parking facilities?
 We do not have car-parking space available. However, there is a 24 hour multi-storey car park on Fleet Street behind the hostel.

9. Are left-luggage facilities provided?
Yes, there is luggage storage room available for early arrival and late departures.

10. Are security boxes (safes) provided?
Security boxes are available at reception for €10.00 deposit and €1.00 per night charge.

11.  What is an en-suite room?
 It is the room with toilet and showers facilities inside the room. Abigail’s has all rooms en-suite.

12. What methods of payment are accepted?
We accept Euro and all major credit cards.

13.  What is your cancellation policy?
For individuals, the cancellation date is 48 hours prior to arrival date (late cancellations or no shows will result in the card holder being charged for 1st nights accommodation).   For groups we have specific cancellation terms.
 
14. Is linen included?
Yes, all bed linen is included (pillow, sheet, bed quilt).

15. Are multi-bed rooms single sex only?
On line we do sell a certain amount of female only dorms – you need to ensure that when you book on line – if you want a bed in a female dorm that you pick the option of a female only dorm and not a mixed sex dorm.

16. Are there disabled facilities?
Yes – we have lift access to the hostel from the entrance floor and we also have some bedrooms which have adapted facilities in the bathrooms.  Please ensure that you request this room type when booking as we have a limited supply and cannot guarantee availability.

17. Are there cooking facilities?
Yes, there is self- catering kitchen available (dishes are provided).

18.     Are towels available?
Yes, towels can be hired from reception for €1.00 charge.

19. Are children allowed in mixed dorms?

Whilst we do welcome children under 16 to stay at Abigails our company policy states that they may only stay in a private room or dormitories for sole occupancy.  If you reserve a bed for someone under the age of 16 we will cancel the reservation upon arrival and you will incurr a 1 night cancellation charge.
